Research Interests

1. Machine Learning:

  • Developing efficient and fast machine learning algorithms for regression/classification. 
  • Investigation of the Complex domain to develop machine learning algorithms.
  • Investigate the efficiency of existing algorithms, like Extreme Learning Machines (ELM) combined with Genetic Algorithms (GA) and Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO).

2. Cognitive neuroscience/ Meta-cognition in artificial Neural Networks:

  • Developing artificial neural networks that can emulate human psychology
  • Improve knowledge representing ability of artificial neural networks
  • Higher order cognition in machine learning

3. Computational Intelligence for Medical diagnosis/medical informatics.

  • Regional anatomical study of human brain for ADHD.
  • Mammogram classification for breast cancer diagnosis.
